David Clark

Vogue Living Editor In Chief

Vogue Living Editor-in-Chief, David Clark, has worked in the interior design industry for more than 25 years. After graduating with a Commerce degree from the University of Queensland (UQ), Clark pursued a more creative path in design. In Sydney, and then later in London, he worked in the fabrics industry selling interior furnishing fabrics for leading textiles houses. After a decade, he returned to his first love, architecture, graduating with a degree in Design Studies (Architecture) from UQ. While working with an architecture firm in Brisbane, and teaching design at UQ, he began to work as Brisbane Editor for Belle. Seduced by publishing, Clark returned to Sydney as Design Editor and subsequently Deputy Editor for Belle. He then freelanced for several years as an architecture and design writer for Australian and international publications, and as a consultant for leading Australian design retailers.

Clark returned to his publishing career at the helm of Vogue Living Australia, which he has edited for the past six and a half years. As Editor of Vogue Living he has established himself as an authoritative voice and an expert in his field.
